After receiving a painting of Shergar in 1982, His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan IV commissioned Reeves to portray many of his horses over the span of three decades. The Aga Khan is known to hold the largest collection of Richard Stone Reeves paintings. This 1984 letter commissions the paintings of Sharaya and Masarika.
